Erie Gives – Save the Date

Watch your small donation grow into A BIG GIFT for more unified Erie neighborhoods and communities.

The 5th annual Erie Gives Day is Tuesday, August 11 from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.  It’s your chance to help us turn a small donation into a big gift, to help strengthen the communities of Erie County. That day, each dollar donated to Neighborhood Resource Organization (NRO) will also receive a pro-rated match from The Erie Community Foundation, GE Transportation, Erie Insurance, Eriez Magnetics and Presque Isle Downs & Casino.

Community disorganization is a key risk factor in youth violence in Erie County. Your donation to Neighborhood Resource Organization will help us to provide ongoing education, support and technical assistance to Neighborhood Groups (ie. Neighborhood Watch Groups and Neighborhood Associations throughout Erie County), providing training, access to and assistance with funding opportunities, research and best practice guidance, providing information on services available to neighborhood residents, and connection to key community partners and other neighborhood groups.
